Terms of Use

The terms that govern the Wajed app and website, including purchases, subscriptions, privacy, and acceptable use.

Last updated: April 6, 2026

Who these terms apply to

These Terms of Use apply to the Wajed mobile app and the Wajed website. If you have questions about these terms, contact support@wajed.online.

Acceptance of these terms

By using Wajed, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

What Wajed is

Wajed is a private, local-first, single-device relationship journal designed to help you remember people, moments, and follow-ups.

Wajed is not a medical, legal, financial, mental health, or emergency service. It is also not a hosted CRM, team workspace, or cloud-based record system.

License to use Wajed

Subject to these terms and any applicable store rules, Wajed grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and website for your own lawful, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Eligibility and children

You must be at least 13 years old, or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction, to use Wajed. Wajed is not intended for children under that age.

Your content and your responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you add to Wajed and for how you use the app.

  • You should only import contacts or store information you have the right to keep and use.
  • You are responsible for securing your device, your passcodes, and any local backups you create.
  • Most journal content stays on your device unless limited technical or operational data is sent to the third-party services described in Wajed’s Privacy Policy.
  • If your device is lost, reset, damaged, or the app is removed, your local content may also be lost unless you have your own backup path outside Wajed.

Privacy

Your use of Wajed is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how Wajed handles information.

Purchases, subscriptions, and billing

Some features may require a paid purchase, such as Wajed Pro. Available plans may include monthly or yearly subscriptions, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The applicable price, billing period, and any trial or introductory offer are shown in the app before you confirm purchase and may vary by storefront, currency, taxes, or promotional eligibility.

  • Payment is charged through the Apple App Store or Google Play account used for purchase.
  • Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the relevant store before the next renewal date.
  • You can manage or cancel a recurring subscription through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
  • If you cancel a recurring subscription, access continues until the end of the current paid billing period unless local law provides otherwise.
  • A lifetime purchase is a one-time unlock and does not auto-renew.
  • Restore Purchases is available in the app, but restored access still depends on the relevant store account, store platform rules, and successful entitlement resolution.
  • Refunds are handled under Apple or Google policies unless a different refund is required by law.
  • Wajed may use RevenueCat to help operate purchase entitlements, paywall flows, restore purchases, and customer center access.

Store-specific terms

If you download Wajed from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use of the app may also be subject to the applicable store terms, platform rules, purchase terms, and any mandatory end-user license terms provided by Apple or Google.

Where Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies, these terms are intended to supplement, not replace, rights you receive under that agreement or under mandatory law.

Availability, updates, and feature changes

Wajed may evolve over time. Features, pricing, premium limits, purchase offerings, and website content may change, improve, or be removed. Wajed may also release updates, fixes, or compatibility changes as the product evolves.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Wajed in violation of applicable law
  • interfere with, disrupt, or misuse the app, website, or support channels
  • attempt to reverse engineer or bypass technical protections except to the extent applicable law allows it
  • use Wajed in a way that infringes another person’s rights or privacy

Third-party services and links

Wajed may rely on third-party services, including RevenueCat for purchases and subscriptions, PostHog for product analytics, Sentry for crash reporting, and Vercel for website hosting and analytics. Your use of third-party platforms, app stores, or external links may also be subject to those third parties’ terms and policies.

Disclaimers

Wajed is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Wajed does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that any feature will remain available forever.

Because Wajed is local-first and single-device, the availability of your content can depend on your device, operating system, local storage state, and your own backup practices.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Wajed and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the app or website.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where such a limitation is not allowed by applicable law.

Termination and suspension

You may stop using Wajed at any time. Wajed may suspend or limit access to the website or support channels where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with legal obligations, address misuse, or protect other users or the public.

Changes to these terms

Wajed may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The latest version will be posted with its updated date.
