Every Wajed notification names a person or an event and says one useful thing. When there’s nothing useful to say, Wajed sends nothing.

Which notifications does Wajed send?

NotificationWhen
Follow-upAt 12:30 on its date, or at the time you chose
ReconnectAt 18:00 on the day someone is due
OccasionAt 19:00 the day before, and 08:30 on the day
Event to-dosAt 19:30 the day before, only if your Bring list has open items
Before an eventAn hour before, only if people you know are coming
After an eventAbout 45 minutes after it ends
After you reach outAbout 45 minutes after you start a call or message from Wajed
Daily writingAt 20:30, only on days you talked to someone and wrote nothing
Weekly recapSunday at 17:00, unless the week was empty

Notifications of the same kind are grouped (“3 people to reach out to”), and Wajed waits at least 30 minutes between them.

What are quiet hours?

Between 21:30 and 08:00, Wajed doesn’t send the notifications whose time it chooses itself. A follow-up you set for an exact time still arrives at that time.

Can I reply to a notification?

Yes. Touch and hold a notification about a person or an event, type what you learned, and send. Wajed saves it as a memory about them.

How do I turn notifications off?

Go to Settings and turn off Notifications. Today, briefs and follow-ups keep working; you just won’t be notified. To silence one person, open their profile and tap the bell at the top.

How do I hide what notifications say?

Go to Settings → Privacy and lock and choose Hide details under On the lock screen. Notifications then say only that you have a reminder.

Settings shows “Not allowed in iPhone Settings”. What do I do?

Notifications are on in Wajed but blocked by iOS. Tap Open Settings on that row, then turn on Allow Notifications for Wajed. If the row says Not allowed yet, tap Allow instead.
